BILLY BISHOP AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING EXPANSION

The expansion of the terminal building at the Toronto Island Airport is a critical step into the evolution of the commercial aviation sector in Toronto, allowing for the eventual adoption of mid-sized jets to use the terminal for international flights carrying passengers to greater distances, making the island airport a key solution to the transportation needs for the people of the city of Toronto.  The project expansion provided for a total of 11 new gates, new passenger waiting areas, new commercial shopping as well as food and beverage areas. Total project cost for this Construction Managed project performed by PCL was $80 million. Runway extensions paving program was managed by the Toronto Port Authority, and was performed by Miller Paving, a subsidiary of Colas SA.

Paul Boucher acted as financial advisor to Colas NA Chairman, who successfully acquired The Miller Group on February 28, 2018 for an acquisition price of $913 million.
